The King's Man prequel release date | Cast, trailer, plot, and everything you need to know about the Kingsman The King's Man prequel,

The two Kingsman films released in 2014 and 2017 respectively proved to be hugely popular with critics - but the next film in the franchise takes a rather different approach.
The King’s Man is a prequel to the Kingsman franchise, telling the story of the intelligence agency’s origins with a new cast - meaning stars Colin Firth and Taron Egerton will not be returning for this episode. There is plenty of star power elsewhere, however, with a killer cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, and Djimon Hounsou.
With the film being one of many to be hit by the coronavirus pandemic, there have been a few changes to the release date - read on for everything you need to know about the Kingsman The King’s Man prequel.

When is The King’s Man in theaters?
The King’s Man was originally intended for a UK cinemas release on September 16, 2020, but that has now been pushed back to February 26, 2021, due to the pandemic. This isn't the first time the film has been delayed - it was originally slated for a 2019 release before moving to February 2020 and then September.
Who is the cast of The King’s Man?
Franchise chief Taron Egerton (who plays young agent Eggsy) has excluded himself from the latest installment, telling Yahoo Movies UK in November 2018: “That doesn't mean I'll never be at Kingsman again. I was with Matthew [Vaughn] just a few days ago, we're still very much in business together, but his next trip to this world doesn't involve me. "He added, "I'm sad not to be on this trip with him, but it's not the last you've seen from Eggsy."With the prequel set in the early 1900s, it's also unlikely that Colin Firth would reprise his role as Harry Hart, but Vaughn assembled a stellar cast to replace them:

Leading the King's Man will be Ralph Fiennes (better known as Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter films and' in Skyfall, Specter, and No Time to Die) as one of Kingsman's first agents. , who takes young Private Conrad (Harris Dickinson) under his wing in what the first trailer suggests is a 1900s version of the Eggsy / Harry Hart relationship. Joining the Taylor-Johnson (Lee Unwin) and Rhys Ifans (Rasputin). Also on board in undisclosed roles: Tom Hollander, Stanley Tucci, Daniel Brühl, and Charles Dance.
Is there a trailer for The King’s Man?

the trailer was released in June 2020, shedding further light on our protagonist's enemies - a group of criminal brains and worst tyrants in history who are planning  We see the villain fighting the Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) and Conrad (Harris Dickinson) before Polly (Gemma Arterton) saves the day by pulling Rasputin's sword from her hand.

What is The King’s Man about?
The official synopsis of the film is rather ambiguous: “As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal minds come together to plan a war to annihilate millions of people, Learn about the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King's Man. "The trailer reveals a few more clues. Set during World War I, the first sequence features major historical figures - such as Tsar Nicholas II, Rasputin, and Archduke Franz Ferdinand. It also gives us plenty of footage of Conrad's induction into the Kingsman Intelligence Agency, under the direction of the gentleman character of Fiennes and with the help of Gemma Arterton's maid-turned spy. We also got a glimpse of familiar locations, from the Kingsman Mansion, where new recruits are being trained, to the front line of the Savile Row organization, with a selection of modern clothing ...

Why has The King’s Man been delayed?

While no official reason has been given for the delays, it is likely that Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox is to blame rather than the quality of the film.

The first delay was announced as the deal between the two studios was yet to be finalized, while the second is part of what looks like a broader strategy to accommodate Disney's huge slate of upcoming films and of its many subsidiaries.

The February 14 release date was already pretty busy, with Sonic The Hedgehog and Fantasy Island also landing on Valentine's Day, so it makes sense that Disney pushed the movie back in order to have less competition.

The King's Man isn't the only movie whose release date has been affected by the merger. The seemingly unfortunate The New Mutants was pushed back from April 13, 2018, to February 2019, then again to August 2, 2019, before finally being released in September 2020.
Will there be more Kingsman movies?

Oh yes. Kingman 3 will see Firth and Egerton reprise their roles for what is billed as the conclusion of the Eggsy / Harry relationship. This installment does not yet have a release date.

There are also reports of a Kingsman spinoff film: The Golden Circle which introduced an international network of Kingsman agents. With an interim title of Statesman, rumor has it Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, and Halle Berry will reprise their roles.

In November 2018, Vaughn also announced details of an eight-hour Kingsman TV series, though details of that project have yet to be fully revealed.
